Energy Entertainments have the opportunity to work alongside and showcase the best talent from around Australia. Every Friday and Saturday night at 6.30pm on the main stage, EE presentS a different, thrilling show. So far they have seen; circus acts, comedy acrobatics, fire shows, aerial performances, dance routines, chainsaw juggling…and that’s just in the first month! It has been a lot of fun collaborating with the performers, sound and lighting guys and the NightQuarter team.

We have been mixing up the theme, lighting and stage props each evening and displaying an awesome backdrop designed by local artist, Dion Parker aka DionsRibs. We’ve created intro announcements and exciting videos to build the atmosphere before the show begins, inviting the audience to prepare for a spectacular stage show.

Keep an eye out for Neal performing his high energy martial art fire shows at the Swell Sculpture Festival and the award winning Buskers By The Creek, both festivals held in Currumbin on the Gold Coast in September and October 2015.

Energy Entertainments are also holding Tai Chi workshops in Goondiwindi School with Kung Fu performances and a fire weapons show including fire sword, fire bow staff and fire chain whip to close the event.

The Heart of Fire Documentary is in full swing and will be completed by the end of the year. Heart of Fire is a journey to find the roots of fire dancing where professional fire performer Neal Webb visits the World Fireknife Championships in Hawaii and trains with the Polynesian warriors to see if he has what it takes to become a fireknife warrior.

There are lots of high energy fire twirling/dancing/spinning shows coming to the Gold Coast and Sydney over the next few months so watch this space and I hope you’re lucky enough to feel the heat of Neal performance.

Fire shows Europe to the Gold Coast Australia

The original Energy Entertainments founders Neal Webb and Adam Mahmoud who formed the company in 2008 in Ibiza Spain, came together in Australia to perform at the Swell Sculpture Festival in September.

Asked by Michael Martin an amazing film maker to create a video inside one of the most incredible Sculptures the festival has ever seen, named the ‘Sea Ball’ which was designed by John Wilson of the Dust Temple – Hinge Gallery and built by Om Engineering, Miami.

This atom shaped steel structure was the perfect platform to perform inside, under and on top. Energy Entertainments love to combine their fire art with other artists and when we can play in something this cool there is no holding back!

The awesome soundtrack for the video ‘Wheels’ is from the album ‘Things you’ve been thinking of for years’ by Mano’s Daughter an inspiring band from the UK.
